ออบหลวง จ.เชียงใหม่ (OB-LUANG CHIANG MAI)
ออบหลวงเป็นสถานที่น่าเที่ยว ที่ธรรมชาติสร้างสรรค์ความสวยงามและน่ากลัวไว้ในจุดเดียวกัน กล่าวคือ เบื้องล่างเป็นแม่น้ำที่ไหลคดเคี้ยวผ่านช่องเขาขาดตรงออบหลวง ช่องเขานี้มีลักษณะเป็นหน้าผาสูงชันและแคบมาก บีบทางน้ำไหล ดังนั้น แม่น้ำตรงนี้จึงเชี่ยวจัด เสียงน้ำกระทบหน้าผาดังสนั่น รอบๆ บริเวณชายน้ำด้านเหนืองดงามไปด้วยหมู่ไม้น้อยใหญ่ ร่มรื่นอยู่ตลอดเวลาชั่วนาตาปี นอกจากนี้ยังมีสะพานเชื่อมช่องเขาขาดสำหรับนักท่องเที่ยวยืนชมความงดงามของ ทัศนียภาพออบหลวง และภายในบริเวณอุทยานฯ มีการขุดค้นพบแหล่งโบราณคดียุคก่อนประวัติศาสตร์ด้วย เช่น หลุมฝังศพของมนุษย์โบราณ และภาพเขียนสีขาวที่บริเวณเพิงผาช้าง และยังมีกิจกรรมเดินป่าศึกษาธรรมชาติ ล่องแก่งเรือยางหรือ ล่องคายัคในลำน้ำแจ่ม

รถยนต์ส่วนตัว -จากตัวเมืองเชียงใหม่ ใช้เส้นทางหลวงหมายเลข108 สายเชียงใหม่-ฮอด-แม่สะเรียง เมื่อถึงอำเภอฮอดให้เลี้ยวขวาบริเวณวงเวียนไปตามถนนหมายเลข 108 ไปอีกประมาณ 17 กิโลเมตร รวมระยะทางประมาณ 105 กิโลเมตร สภาพทางลาดยางตลอด และช่วงระหว่างฮอดจนถึงออบหลวงนั้น ถนนจะเลียบขนานไปกับแม่น้ำแม่แจ่มหรือแม่น้ำสลักหิน และวกไปเวียนมาตามไหล่เขา
รถโดยสารประจำทาง -ใช้รถโดยสารประจำทางได้หลายสายเช่น เชียงใหม่-ฮอด-อมก๋อย หรือ กรุงเทพฯ-จอมทอง หรือ กรุงเทพฯ-แม่สะเรียง-แม่ฮ่องสอน จากนั้นต่อรถสองแถวที่หน้าอำเภอฮอดอีก 17 กิโลเมตร หรือนั่งรถสายเชียงใหม่-แม่ฮ่องสอน ซึ่งจะผ่านที่ทำการอุทยานแห่งชาติออบหลวง บริเวณท่ารถตรงวงเวียนฮอด-แม่สะเรียง จะมีรถวิ่งทั้งหมด 3 เส้นทาง คือ ฮอด – แม่สะเรียง ฮอด-แม่แจ่ม ฮอด-อมก๋อย ซึ่งจะผ่านออบหลวงทั้งสามสาย
