   ม่อนแจ่ม คือสถานที่พักแห่งใหม่ของโครงการหลวง เพิ่งเปิดตัวไม่เมื่อปลายปี 2552 เป็นพื้นที่บนสันเขาในระดับความสูงประมาณ1,350 เมตรจากระดับน้ำทะเล บริเวณหมู่บ้านม้งหนองหอย อำเภอแม่ริม จังหวัดเชียงใหม่

          ม่อนแจ่ม ปรากฎโฉมในรูปแบบ "แคมปิ้ง รีสอร์ท" ที่กลมกลืนกับธรรมชาติได้อย่างลงตัว พร้อมชูความเป็นส่วนตัวและความสะดวกสบาย เช่น ในเต้นท์มีบริเวณส่วนตัว มีห้องน้ำส่วนตัว น้ำร้อน ไฟฟ้า และเครื่องใช้ครบครัน ประหนึ่งอยู่ในห้องพักโรงแรม แต่พิเศษกว่าตรงที่ได้สัมผัสกับธรรมชาติอย่างใกล้ชิด เพราะเพียงแค่คุณเปิดหน้าต่าง สายลมเย็น ๆ วิวขุนเขา สายหมอก ก็โผล่รอต้อนรับ แถมยามค่ำคืนดาวน้อยใหญ่จะค่อย ๆ ส่องประกายแวววับให้มองเพลิน ๆ

หรือไปเดินเล่นรอบเขาที่มีวิวสวย ๆ ก็ได้ และบริเวณใกล้ ๆ ม่อนแจ่ม จะเป็นที่ตั้งของ ศูนย์พัฒนาโครงการหลวงหนองหอย ภายในมีแปลงผักและงานวิจัยผักเมืองหนาว เช่น อาติโช๊ค, แปลงสมุนไพร เลมอนทาร์ม มิ้น คาร์โมมายด์ โรสแมรี่, ไม้ผล เช่น พลัม องุ่นไร้เมล็ด สตรอเบอรี่หวานฉ่ำ, แปลงผักไฮโดรโพนิค เป็นเทคโนโลยีการปลูกพืชโดยไม่ใช้ดิน เช่น โอ้คลีฟแดง และผักตระกูลสลัด มะเขือเทศดอยคำ ให้ได้ชื่นชม
